Your ideal research study
My ideal research is in clinical and social neuroscience, specifically in understanding the neural and psychological mechanisms behind attachment, grief, emotional resilience, and transformative emotional states (such as those of psychedelics, and states of awe). I am also passionate about translating scientific insight into accessible clinical tools and public engagement to inform new treatment approaches and understanding of the complexities and interconnectedness of human minds.
What drew you to consciousness
Growing up with Tibetan Buddhist influence and teaching yoga and meditation in the last few years, I am fascinated by the power of our consciousness and the transformative potential of altered states. Studying consciousness with the diversity of methods at IACS is a dream come true in diving deeper into our 3 pound universe 🧠
